I enjoy playing at online casinos and have been for many years and I'd like to get more involved in playing in tournaments as I noticed that they generally offer decent size prizes for the top place finishers of the tournament. Anyways my question here is what is the difference between a sit and go type tournament and a scheduled tournament I've heard both of these terms used when online casino tournaments as well as poker tournaments are being described?

Well basically sit and go tournament is one in which a minimum number of players is required before the tournament can begin. From what I understand with the Sit and Go type online casino tournament players can continue registering even after the tournament has begun whereas with the Scheduled tournament players can only register up to the start time of the tournament.

These are the additional features: Scheduled Online Slots Tournaments A scheduled multiplayer online slots tournament starts at a fixed time and you must register and play within a set time limit. Sit n' Go Online Slots Tournaments The Sit n Go online slots tournaments only start once the predetermined number of players has registered. In other words, if a game needs 6 players before it starts, the game will only start once 6 or more players have registered. |

Free roll tournaments appear to be one of the biggest fads right now in the online casino industry. I'm seeing more and more online casinos running these types of tournaments. I think that Golden Casino Group and English Harbour group are definitely leading the way with these tournaments. I'm finding that I'm starting to play in more of them these days. Why now they're free to get started with... unfortunately though most free roll tournaments start you off at a low balance and you pretty much need to re-buy if you want to continue playing in the tournament.
