Given the outcome is based purely on chance, one can't devise a strategy when it comes to placing roulette bets. Having said that, this chart describes the different ways one can bet as well as the different payouts associated with each bet. For instance as a rule of thumb, 5.26 percent is the house edge in Roulette (the exception being if you make a 5 way bet and then the percentage is 7.26.)
